We went in and... read more were immediately greeted by the owner, who was very hospitable and within a few seconds sitting down offered us free drinks if we could get to the fridge to get the cans out within 10 seconds. My other half was a bit slow off the mark, but we encouraged her to run and choose a couple of cans. The menu was simple, but what we wanted. We chose fish and chips and lobster soup. It came within 5 minutes and we were not disappointed. The fish was cod in a breaded crumb with additional spice. It was exceptionally succulent and tasty. The lobster soup was equally tasty with chunks of lobster. The owner then offered us seconds for no extra cost and then brought a Tiramasu to the table. This was also amazing, slightly boozy and full of flavour. Whilst we ate, the owner entertained all the customers, who seemed equally as satisfied. When we paid the bill, we were pleasantly suprised and he also gave us 2 chocolate wafers.

If you want a quick no nonsense and tasty fish and chips, this is the place to go. Its not a fancy venue, but we will certainly remember it.
