The staff are some of the kindest people I have ever met, I could go on about them for days. we’ve been here 4/8 days on this trip and plan on going back again! The atmosphere is so inviting and I’m assuming the gentleman who checked us out today was the owner ( super funny and the cutest personality) he danced with us to some music at the register. Everything is priced extremely well!

All around I wish I could pack this place up and move it back to the states, a wonderful place with even better food and people! We will really miss it when the trips over ! Until then we enjoy it as much as possible!!

  Tiny portions of poorly cooked food. Icelandic fish stew basically vinegary mash potato, hardly discernible as containing fish.

Beer served in cans, not cold.
Expensive and unsatisfactory, maybe ok for the under 30 crowd who can sit and chat in an atmosphere reminiscent of a 1970’s polytechnic refectory.
We crossed the road and had a nice Vietnamese meal afterwards to compensate.
Avoid this place !

What can I say? Top nosh comes to mind, but also excellent value for money. Not often you'd see that said round here.

We went in and were firstly greated by a member of staff with a huge smile on her face and a bowl full of celebrations of which we were offered a choice from.

We took a seat in the relatively small casual dining space, and got given a menu straight away. At first it might not seem like there's much choice, but that's a sign of good food. We had the fish stew and fish and chips. Both I could highly recommend. The fish here tastes very fresh. The staff were also kind enough to suggest seasoning for the food and also offer a selection of sauces that they have.

Just when we thought we'd finished, the staff again came over and offered us FREE REFILLS on food! I mean how many places do that? I will mention this isn't an 'all you can eat', and the prices are already cheaper than most around. To top it all off we were sent away with a chocolate bar each as pudding.

To summarise, the food is great and excellent value for money. A word of warning, if you wish to sit in you might be out of luck as it fills up quickly, but they do offer take away. It is worth the wait however!

How wrong I was , I was served up photo 1 , a cup of soup , looks like something you get from a tinned soul from Lidl . And it cost £30 for two cups . I can’t comment on the other dishes but if you’re hungry and want a substantial meal go elsewhere. Ps the service was very good , but I would avoid this place , very disappointed.
