They will explain the menu items if required. The portion size was good, and they offer refills if needed. You probably won't need a refill if you eat all the chocolate wafers that they keep handing out! My only regret is that due to a busy schedule we did not have chance to visit again.

I’m not an expert, but felt this place was quintessentially Icelandic. Something like: “Not fancy, but warmed you to the core and felt like home. The morning we went, the owner was around and he was the nicest guy! He offered us as many helpings as we could hold and made sure we tried dessert and had some snacks for the road. All free of charge.

When we told him we loved the food, he was humbly surprised. Great hospitality and definitely worth at least a try for anyone!
