Staff couldn't have been more helpful and cheerful - even brought us a couple of wafer chocolate bars for a free dessert!

Also, the owner is frequently there, there is free candy, and they are very... read more engaged. If the place were three times as large, it would really impact other restaurants. There is a steady stream of customers, with nearly all seats usually taken along with a significant take away business. We had three soups, all excellent (we took advantage of more salt and heat to jazz them up). Had we found this place earlier, we would have had an additional meal here.

We had both a lunch here, and did a restaurant hop for dinner with this being our first stop. We like adventuring, and found a nice second stop for dinner, but this will always be a stop.

I had the lobster bisque and husband had the seafood stew. Both were good. Mother-in-law has the fish and chips and claimed they were the best she’s ever had. Liked the candy they had out for patrons. Great for a quick and affordable lunch. Note there is limited seating and it can get quite crowded inside.
