The staff are some of the kindest people I have ever met, I could go on about them for days. we’ve been here 4/8 days on this trip and plan on going back again! The atmosphere is so inviting and I’m assuming the gentleman who checked us out today was the owner ( super funny and the cutest personality) he danced with us to some music at the register. Everything is priced extremely well!

All around I wish I could pack this place up and move it back to the states, a wonderful place with even better food and people! We will really miss it when the trips over ! Until then we enjoy it as much as possible!!

I saw the menu out front and the owner invited me in. Very, very friendly. I told him i had to go tell my wife who was waiting across the street under store awning. He gave me a menu to take to her. I did and we both decided it was a perfect day for hot soup. I had the traditional meat soup, which was full of fresh vegetables and large chunks of tender, tasty lamb. I have to add that when I asked him about it before I ordered it, he gave me a quarter of a container to taste, then when I was about half way through the meal, he came around and took it to refill it. He was so nice. My wife had the chicken soup which was filled with chunks of chicken and lots of noodles. This container was quite large. The soup delish! He also gave us chocolate before the soup came and a big chocolate bar afterward as well. Great place, great food, great service and reasonably priced. We would definitely return!

He was very informative and knew a lot of information about the menu. He took our interest very quickly and we really looked forward to trying the food. We thought the value of the food was great so we went ahead and ordered. My partner ordered the fish and chips and I ordered the traditional Icelandic meat soup. The food came very quickly. Wow! Delicious, hot food and I wanted more! We shall definitely be returning! All the staff were so friendly and even gave us free chocolate. One of the nicest food places I've ever been to in my life.

The waiter at the table next to us let a couple try a little of some of the dishes so they’d know what to get, which was unusual and considerate. Our waiter was very attentive and gave us extra soup when he noticed we were sharing. Very kind staff (and cute!), who even threw in a little extra dessert on our way out!

I had the meat... read more soup, and husband had the seafood soup. He couldn't believe how much beautiful seafood was in it, scallops, prawns and cod. Mine was very tasty, and after a free refill and an extra bread roll we were ready to face the elements on our walk round town. Very reasonable at about £10 each. We will return, thank you.
