  Is it good? Yes, sure. Is it best restaurant in Reykjavik good? Not sure about that. Got the fish and chips and a beer. Came out fast, fish was smallish... read more in portion but well cooked and well flavored. Condiments for the taking inside. Service was friendly enough, but I didn't experience the free candy or refills offer (maybe I should have showed them my empty plate?). Seating inside is now tables (vs counter as in another picture) and some tables outside.

We ordered fish stew -- bland and uninteresting, tasted fishy, but was not flavorful -- and fish and chips, which were OK at best. The cod was good; the breading not so. Chips were OK. There are much better places in Reykjavik to enjoy a simple meal.

If you want an affordable but high quality filling meal at the best possible price don't miss the guys out. Stefan your Scottish friends will be back soon!!

The young man who was waiting on has excellent customer service skills, made us feel welcome and is a credit to the restaurant.

Staff are super friendly and the owner is a ray of sunshine, super welcoming and charming you 100% have to try this place!
