They were the nicest bunch of people. They showed us how they prepared the fish and cook it. It is fresh! All five of us agreed that it was one of the best meals yet. They are proud of their food and should be. We will return there again on this trip.

My husband ordered the fish stew. This came in an even smaller cardboard container & consisted simply of fish & mashed potatoes. No sign of any vegetables or other ingredients you would expect to find in a stew. It was also quite tasteless. Given our very negative experience it is difficult to understand how this place receives so many 5 star reviews. Very poor value indeed

The owner was particularly friendly and was so good with my younger niece and nephew, offering them a chocolate bar if they finished their meals!!
If you want to experience some local cuisine without breaking the bank in Iceland you should definitely pay this place a visit. The owner should be congratulated on creating a great place to eat with a fantastic atmosphere - well done!
