It was like a big warm hug. I cannot express my newfound love for this dish enough! The guy that took my order was nice and helpful, as I was confused on how the system worked (I paid first, you should sit first and pay after you order and eat!) but they were very nice and accommodating when I asked for a takeout box, and also got gifted some delish candy before I left. Such a nice vibe & staff. I’ll be back next time in town!

  With a score of 5.0 on TripAdvisor, we thought this would be a good place for a quick meal, but how wrong can you be?

Our party of... read more five ordered beef noodle soup, fish and chips, and Icelandic fish stew. The noodle soup consisted mainly of gray water with no particular taste to it and with minimal filling, Fries and fish were fried in old oil and had a dominant taste of this - in addition of being cooked far too much. One of two servings of fish stew never found its way to the table, despite several requests to the staff.

The food is served in cardboard buckets, which isn't very appealing and in no way consistent with the pictures on the menu. Servings are small.

The quality of the food is critically low and in no way matches the place's score on TripAdvisor. The score is obviously manipulated in some way.

The experience here is definitely one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had - a total disappointment. Can't recommend this place in any way.

Everything... read more was great. The chicken noodle soup was the most generous portion, the lamb soup was small, but considering the price of meat it’s what we expected. The fish was somewhere in the middle.

Highly recommend this place if you want to try some of the cultural specialties. And it’s one of the less expensive restaurants.

At the end the owner insisted that we took some free chocolate. He said “you never know how the food will be at a new restaurant, so always take some chocolate”

The soup was absolutely divine and the chunks of lobster were soft and delicious.

The staff were SO friendly and checked in a couple of times. We were even given a complimentary chocolate wafer bar which was a lovely touch.

Couldn’t recommend this place enough!
