This fish was amazing, so fresh and so well cooked. I don't even like fish and chips !!! The fish stew and the meat stew were also delicious. Everything is the same price (and a good price !) on the menu and the number of menu items is limited so you can be sure that everything is homemade.
The owner is a wonderful older gentlemen who makes sure that his guests are happy and well fed. The staff is super friendly.
Do not hesitate to come here. It is impossible to be disappointed !!!

My wife ordered the lobster soup and I had the lamb soup. The soups are served in nice sized recyclable containers and include a tasty roll. The lamb soup was nice and hot and had a deep, rich flavor with a good amount of tender lamb and vegetables. It was very good and the perfect meal for a damp evening. My wife also enjoyed her lobster soup. For dessert, we shared a chocolate confection that was topped with toasted marshmallow. The staff was helpful and accommodating—excellent service.

101 Reykjavik Street Food has an amazing owner who greets diners as they are paying and preparing to leave. He not only has a warm personality, he also provided us with a couple of chocolate wafer bars that were delicious. This is a great place for a delicious meal that is reasonably priced and located in the heart of Reykjavik.
