I originally wanted hot milk but the waitress insisted the milk was only for hot chocolates and coffees.

After paying the waitress kindly gave us two chocolate bars which was a nice gesture so we would go back there.

  Super nice food. Absolutely delicious, heart warming food with a lovely owner. Most definitely recommend, you will not be disappointed.

They are have fish and... read more chips which is a local favorite. We were here in winter and this place is PACKED. However the owner and staff are wonderful. We were lucky enough to get free beer because we were there about 40 times. Eating at all you can eat soup joints is the way to eat cost effectively in Reykjavik. Also, the owner is always there and he is always smiling. The staff is hilarious and efficient. Awesome lobster soup & meat soup. Fish and chips are bad ass as well. Cheers!!
