I ordered the fish & chips (minus breading) and my bf ordered the lobster soup. Both were so delicious! The cod was soft and flaky, while the chips were light, crisp, and airy (so different than greasy American chips). The lobster soup was actually light (not heavy cream based) and full of flavor. Our server, Nick, was so friendly and helpful. He even gave us a giant bag of candy before we left! I would highly recommend stopping here on a visit.

Everything... read more was great. The chicken noodle soup was the most generous portion, the lamb soup was small, but considering the price of meat it’s what we expected. The fish was somewhere in the middle.

Highly recommend this place if you want to try some of the cultural specialties. And it’s one of the less expensive restaurants.

At the end the owner insisted that we took some free chocolate. He said “you never know how the food will be at a new restaurant, so always take some chocolate”

The staff was really personable, making sure I was happy with what I ordered and gave me recommendations of what else to do around the city. Patrick was extremely helpful. He made it feel like I was eating with family. I went back to the restaurant daily and was equally treated to the same quality or food and service. The beef soup was so filling and full of flavor. I can’t recommend this place enough.

My fish was cod, lightly battered, not greasy and so mild tasting:) loved it. We were given mini chocolate bars for our appetizers and for dessert the owner gave us chocolate bars. He was so generous and friendly we would go back if we were here longer.
