The soup was absolutely divine and the chunks of lobster were soft and delicious.

The staff were SO friendly and checked in a couple of times. We were even given a complimentary chocolate wafer bar which was a lovely touch.

Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Since we work... read more as crew on a cruise ship and have seen many ports and many different street food shops, we have been to some really good ones and some not that good. But to be honest, this was the best one yet!
Yesterday, when we docked in Reykjavík, we went out to explore the city where we discovered this little shop. We were attracted by the smell, went in, had a nice chat with the owner and got our food super fast which we enjoyed in the sun!
Not only was the food amazing but the owner was very friendly and joked around with all his guests which made the whole visit that much more pleasant! Plus he gave away chocolat for free as a dessert that we were only allowed to eat when we had finished our main course 😉 oh and boy did we - stuffed to the brim but happy!
If we ever come back to Reykjavík, we will come back here for certain!

The... read more seafood soup had a lot of shrimps, cod chucks in it. It also tasted wonderful. Price is on the cheaper side of Iceland standard so that's a plus! I'd come back again.
